THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

EMER MCDONAGH, 31 and of Southcote Road in Bournemouth, admitted using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on January 25. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates' Court on February 21 having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

CHARLES SMALL, 29 and of Riggs Gardens in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class A after being in possession of 0.4g of cocaine in Bournemouth on March 1. He was fined £96 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

PAUL WHELAN, 37 and of Ranelagh Road in Weymouth, admitted theft from a shop after stealing two electric drills valued at £269 from B&Q in Weymouth on December 16, 2023. He was ordered to pay compensation of £134.50.

MIA-PAIGE PENNICK, 20 and of Allington Mead in Bridport, admitted intentionally / recklessly cause a public nuisance after ‘throwing bottles at paramedics and dangling dangerously from a bridge’ in Bridport on May 7. She was handed a community order lasting until May 6, 2026.

GEOFFREY BRIAN CONQUER, 52 and of no fixed address, admitted possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place after being found with a folding and locking box cutter in Weymouth on May 7. He also admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on April 2. He was jailed for six months and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MITCH GEORGE MICHELL, 31 and of Alma Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was jailed for seven days.

RYAN ANTHONY VELKOOP, 30 and of Jacqueline Road in Poole, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay costs of £60.

MARC KERSHAW, 34 and of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was fined £40.

JESSI PRESTON, 32 and of St Paul’s Lane in Bournemouth, admitted theft from a shop after stealing £517.86 worth of goods from Holland & Barrett at Dolphin Centre in Poole on December 21, 2023. She was conditionally discharged for a period 18 months and ordered to pay compensation £258.93.

CHRISTOPHER EVANS, 34 and of Herbert Avenue in Poole, admitted drug driving in Branksome Wood Road in Poole on March 2, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £346, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £138 and costs of £925 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

STEFAN FURMAGE, 30 and of Cromer Gardens in Poole, admitted being drunk and disorderly in West Cliff Road in Bournemouth on March 3. He was fined £166 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
