ANDOVER Trees United is eagerly prepping for the return of its Auction of Promises to raise money for its projects.

The evening on May 24 will see more than 50 enticing auction lots, delightful food, excellent wines and live music. The event, hosted by Sultan SID Dajani, starts at 6.45pm and takes place at Wherwell Village Hall.

For just £30, attendees will participate in a variety of activities and events such as lake fishing lessons, vineyard tours, gardening and camping experiences and more.

A surprising gift from MP Kit Malthouse to the House of Commons will also feature.

An Andover Trees United spokesperson said: "We’ve organised this event to celebrate the great work we all do locally in preserving and protecting our woodlands.

"All funds will allow the charity to continue to run children’s nature activities in Harmony Woods and in the wider Diamond Wood ensuring that the importance of conservation is understood and starts at a young age. We can all contribute to a more sustainable future for us all - so your support means everything to our charity."
